Hopefully, this blog will end up becoming a somewhat entertaining, fairly accurate recollection of our once-in-a-lifetime "adventure on two wheels" across our country, north to Alaska, and back through Canada. With support from our friends, cooperation from the weather gods, and a reliable GPS we should complete our journey in approximately 6 1/2 weeks.

Sorry!
To those of you who were kind enough to sign in to our blog, I'm sorry! I apparently messed it up and we have to start from scratch. I hope you find your way back and will continue to travel along with us!! L
Well, I see Jack the illustrious Art/English teacher but where is Laura? Is this going to be like where is Waldo but we are either going to have to find Laura or Jack? Since I know Jack would not put Laura under the tarp, is she behind the tree? Good luck and keep up the blogging. This could be fun for all of us. We can travel with you vicariously. Love Barr
Dave! GREAT idea! We could hook up on the way past St. Joe (?) and you could cruise with us as far as you'd like (I'm sure Ken would LOVE to see you ;) ) Seriously, if you'd like to come along for a while, just give us a call and we'll work out the logistics!

Who says Jack wouldn't put Laura under the tarp? I sort of expect that about three weeks into this trip :)
We've both made a commitment to be behind the camera on this trip, so I'm sure you'll see BOTH of our smilin' faces for the next few weeks.
