One week to go...

We did a pretty good job knocking off one page of "To-Do"s today. Our dear friends Tony Miles and his girlfriend, Rachelle, had a little gathering to wish us good luck on our trip and I feel like the angels will be watching our route. (Unless, of couse, they've stayed behind to have another beer with Tony or anothe bowl of Mike Rosul's awesome jumbalaya.) In that case, we're on our own and those damn angels are sitting fat and happy!

Before we leave, we have three birthdays to celebrate (Happy birthday, Sam, on the 30th, Ben, on the 31st, and Mom, - hitting 80, on June 2.) Love you ALL! We also have a James Taylor concert on Wednesday, have to get the bike serviced and get a plumber out here to install our emergency sump pump for some peace of mind while we're away. Oh yeah...and we also have 10 classes to "put to bed" so to speak - by getting their finals done (they need to be written first), grades submitted and end of the year wrap up complete. WAIT!! WE'RE LEAVING NEXT SUNDAY??? I NEED MORE TIME!! Wait! WAIT!!

What an adventure! You crazy kids. Have you been to Alaska before? Beautiful piece of the planet. I love the almost endless daylight of summer. Show us some pics of your camper opened up. I have friends looking for something similar. Bon voyage.

Will post pics of the camper asap. It's a great little rig! Neither Jack nor I have been to Alaska before. As a matter of fact, neither of us has been to any of the Canadian provinces west of Ontario either. We are SO PSYCHED!!

By the way "six card", who ARE you? :) We don't recognize your screen name. Jack and I have taken turns guessing based on the hints in your post!

Well I remembered. Wish you the best of luck and don't forget to pack plenty of Preperation H and Monkey Powder.

John, I KNOW I'm going to be sorry I asked...
What (and please try to be less descriptive than your usual eloquent self) is monkey powder? After all, I'd hate to need it and not know what it is! - L

Here's an ID hint...I wore jeans and flannel shirts in college...yeah, that narrows it down. Thanx for the camper slide show.

OK Six Card...Jeans and flannel shirts? You'll need to narrow it down a little more, please. How about the waist and inseam of those college jeans?

I figure you aren't one of my pals as I didn't go to college with them and half of Jack's buds are women (although most of us wore our share of flannel shirts as well!) We need a little more help here. :) L
